Sports Academy Winter Practical

On Thursday, the Sports Academy used their practical lesson to do something a little different and we went ice skating. We had a great time, many falls and many giggles. Lots of team work – dragging various non ice skaters around. Mr Thompson was able to show off his outstanding ice skating skills and impress the spectators. The resilience award goes to Aiden who must have fallen over in excess of 30 times. The only serious injury was sustained by Mrs Lovelock who fell flat on her face in the last few minutes of the session!!!
The Sports Academy next social is Monday evening where it sees 40 of us going out for a Christmas meal and Awards Evening.
