Mrs Hack and Ms Koutsoukou would like to say a very special thank you to those students who contributed to the Christmas Shoebox appeal for Stonepillow: a local charity supporting the homeless at Christmas time. Each tutor group was tasked with making up a shoebox of goodies for those in need this Christmas time. We were asked to collect hats, scarves, gloves and other toiletry items to support people in crisis. The students went above and beyond and have been unbelievably generous. We have a large number of boxes to donate to Stonepillow and we know they will be going to help and support our local community.
The students have been learning about Christmas traditions from all over the world in tutor time and it is heartening to see so many keep the tradition of kindness alive. A special mention should go to those in Ms Dixon’s tutor group 7A, they collected the most boxes and have been so enthusiastic about helping. Well Done!
